Job summary

Reworld in Spring Hill, FL is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to support our facility control room. You will operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently to ensure the reliable execution of our industrial disposal process.

You will monitor boilers and air pollution control equipment, read meters, perform sampling and chemistry tests, and operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts on a rotating 12-hour shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating boiler and heavy industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems including boilers and pollution controls.
• Monitor equipment using meters and gauges to identify trends.
• Perform sampling and water chemistry testing as required.
• Operate cranes, skid steers, loaders and forklifts safely.
• Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels and pit mixing as directed.
• Additional duties to ensure safe operations.
