Job summary

Aurora Energy Research in Austin is looking for a Power Markets Associate to support Chronos, Aurora's battery valuation software, in ERCOT and CAISO. You will work across Advisory, Product, Research and Commercial teams to deepen battery market knowledge and deliver client-facing analyses.

The role requires nodal US power markets knowledge and strong analytical and communication skills to explain complex results to clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a client-centric power markets role.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with client-facing projects.

Responsibilities

• Support role in advisory and product teams with client-facing analyses.
• Lead engagement on client transactions and market analyses.
• Deliver training and guide users on valuation outputs.
• Collaborate with Research, Modeling and Product teams to resolve queries.
• Contribute to product roadmap through client feedback.
• Develop junior team members.
