You will collaborate with development, trading, finance, and energy marketing teams to provide data-driven insights that shape project strategy and portfolio value.

The role offers exposure to global energy markets through collaboration with Europe and APAC teams, building analytical tools and improving data workflows with SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (engineering, economics, mathematics, data science, or similar).
• 0-5 years of relevant experience in energy, data analysis, engineering, economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with complex datasets and extract key insights.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support investment and commercial decisions by analyzing project economics, market conditions, and risks.
• Analyze U.S. power markets (CAISO, WECC) and develop views on prices and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop commercial strategies and bids.
• Develop beliefs for RWE core markets and coordinate with forecast teams.
• Translate data into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build and maintain models (Python, Excel) to evaluate project value.
• Improve data workflows by automating analysis and applying SQL/AI tools.
