Aurora Energy Research in Austin is seeking a motivated Power Markets Analyst to join the Software Solutions team. You will support Chronos, Aurora’s battery valuation software, across ERCOT and CAISO, and help expand to all US ISOs.

The role sits across Advisory, Research, Modeling and Product teams, combining market expertise with client-facing analysis and clear communication of results. A fast learner who thrives in a collaborative environment will succeed; candidates should be comfortable

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in an analytical, knowledge-driven role.
• Strong analytical capabilities in engineering, business or economics.
• Persistent, results-driven with hands-on approach.
• Excellent client-facing communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide nodal battery valuations in Chronos for client transactions.
• Enable client access to pre-release software features and insights with internal teams.
• Deliver specialized client training on valuation workflows.
• Gather client feedback to inform product strategy.
