Job summary

Aurora Energy Research Limited in Austin, TX seeks a Power Markets Associate in Client Solutions to join the Software Solutions team. You will support Chronos, Aurora’s battery valuation software, across ERCOT and CAISO, interfacing with advisory, product and research groups.

The role requires 3+ years in power markets, strong analytical and client-facing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a client-centric role in power markets.
• Strong analytical capabilities in engineering, business, economics.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven project management skills and ability to drive initiatives.
• Team player with collaborative success.
• Desirable: nodal power market analytics experience (ERCOT, CAISO, PJM, NYISO) and programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Support growth of Chronos battery valuation software in ERCOT and CAISO.
• Collaborate with US Advisory, Product, Research, and Commercial teams on client projects.
• Lead client engagement on transaction support projects and deliver market analyses.
• Provide specialized client training on workflows and valuation outputs.
• Coordinate with Research, Modeling, and Product teams to resolve client queries.
• Shape evolution of Aurora's software roadmap with Product teams.
• Drive customer usage, satisfaction, and retention through dashboards and engagement.
