Job summary

Energy Exemplar is seeking a proactive Energy Market Analyst to join our Support Division. You will learn PLEXOS and AURORA at an advanced level and provide technical support to a global client base, guiding users through SaaS/Cloud and Desktop offerings.

You will train clients, update training materials, and create practical tools and content while staying current on power market trends and client needs, interfacing with development and account teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to derive insights.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions for decision makers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present findings.
• Experience with SaaS/Cloud or software product support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn our software to an advanced level.
• Provide technical support to customers and track cases from start to finish.
• Assist clients with issues related to SaaS/Cloud and Desktop versions.
• Collaborate with Cloud and Engine/GUI teams to document requests.
• Provide onsite and web-based trainings to clients.
• Maintain training materials and create instructional content (articles/videos).
• Develop tools and examples for client use to maximize software value.
• Contribute to product documentation and help resources.
• Stay updated on power market trends and developments.
• Communicate market needs to the development team as needed.
• Support Account Management with client retention activities.
• Assist in preparations for energy events and conferences.
• Travel to client sites as required.
