Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer to prune, remove, and manage vegetation near power lines. The role involves climbing, rigging, driving to work sites, and operating chippers and ground tools under supervision of qualified personnel.

The position requires basic tree knowledge, adherence to ANSI Z133 and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269, and the ability to work safely in outdoor environments. CPR/First-Aid certification is preferred. This is a field-based full-time role with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of tree-trimming or clearance crew experience.
• Valid CPR/First-Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to operate and maintain required tools and equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions and safety information.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with branches and logs; trim, remove or fell trees as directed.
• Work aloft using climbing equipment and perform rigging to lower material safely.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and bucket/boom equipment with safety.
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations; train and coach others when qualified.
