Job summary

Wright Tree Service in the United States is seeking a Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees away from power lines, ensuring vegetation interference is minimized. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
• High School diploma preferred but not required.
• Valid First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs not suitable for wood chipping.
• Trim, remove, or fell trees using climbing gear and ground tools.
• Work aloft to cut branches and lower them with rigging lines.
• Use ground tools to fell trees and split into pieces.
• Operate safely near energized lines under supervision; may supervise non-qualified staff.
• Apply herbicides/regulators to brush and keep records.
