Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees near power lines. You will work with climbing equipment and ground tools to clear vegetation and protect infrastructure. The role requires traveling to sites, following safety procedures, and maintaining equipment and records. This position is on-site and non-exempt, with extensive outdoor work and potential for overtime during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience on tree trimming or clearing crews or completed skills assessments.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with manageable limbs and logs.
• Trim, remove and/or fell trees using climbing equipment and tools.
• Work aloft to cut branches and drop them with rigging lines.
• Operate ground tools like saws and pruners safely.
• Maintain safety and follow OSHA regulations on site.
