Qualifications

• Knowledge of trees, growth habits, and arboricultural techniques near energized conductors.
• Ability to follow ANSI Z133.1 and ANSI A300 standards.
• Must adhere to safety requirements and coach others on proper procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with branches and logs.
• Trim, remove, and/or fell trees using approved climbing and lifting equipment.
• Work on the ground with hand saws and pruners.
• Work aloft to cut branches, drop or lower sections with rigging lines.
• Use ground tools to fell trees and split wood.
• Operate near energized conductors under supervision and follow safety protocols.
• Provide supervision of non-qualified employees when prerequisites are met.
• Apply herbicides and record applications.
• Maintain and repair company vehicles and tools; perform routine maintenance.
• Communicate with customers, comply with policies, and stay on schedule.
• Travel extensively to job sites and work long hours during emergencies.
