Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees, limbs and shrubs near power lines, ensuring vegetation interference is minimized and tree health is maintained. You will use climbing equipment, rigging lines, and ground tools to safely trim and drop material to the ground.

The role requires knowledge of ANSI/OSHA standards, the ability to work extended hours, and a commitment to safety while serving customers and supporting emergency response operations.

Qualifications

• Basic arboricultural knowledge for trimming and removing trees near energized conductors.
• OSHA and ANSI standards familiarity for safe tree work.
• CPR/First-Aid certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Load and move limb sections and logs safely.
• Trim, remove, or fell trees near power lines using climbing equipment and ground tools.
• Work aloft with rigging lines and drop material to ground.
• Operate ground tools and manage debris with a woodchipper as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and train less experienced staff.
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance.
