Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a qualified Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees near power lines, using climbing and ground tools. The role requires working aloft, handling rigging lines, and performing routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.

The candidate should have basic knowledge of arboricultural techniques, safety training, and the ability to follow instructions while complying with company policies. Travel may be extensive and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Valid First‑Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs.
• Trims, removes and/or fells trees using climbing or ground tools.
• Works aloft to cut branches and lower them with rigging lines.
• Fells trees with appropriate ground tools and splits into pieces.
• Performs routine vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance.
