Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer in the United States. The role involves pruning and removing trees to keep lines clear, using climbing gear and ground tools, while maintaining tree health and appearance.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, performing aloft and ground work, operating rigs, applying herbicides, and following OSHA regulations. Regular inspections and safety training are required, with overtime during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Has a minimum of 3 months of experience in tree trimming or clearing crews or completed relevant skills assessments.
• Must hold First-Aid and CPR cards or obtain them within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs.
• Trims, removes and/or fells trees using climbing equipment and ground tools.
• Work aloft to cut branches or trunk sections and lower them with rigging lines.
• Operate tools on the ground to fell trees and divide into pieces.
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Assist with herbicide applications and maintain records.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA regulations and coach others as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and may travel for storm work or disasters.
