Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer to prune, remove and trim trees near power lines. You may climb or work from ground tools to safely manage vegetation and maintain tree health. The role requires strong safety awareness and compliance with OSHA regulations.

The position involves operating and maintaining equipment, performing routine maintenance, and supporting team safety during emergencies and storm work. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience in tree trimming or clearing crews or successful completion of applicable skills assessments.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Valid First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with manageable limbs and logs.
• Trim, remove and/or fell trees using climbing equipment and hand tools.
• Work aloft to cut branches and lower to ground using rigging lines.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, equipment and tools; perform routine maintenance.
• Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations; may supervise non-qualified employees near energized conductors.
