Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree care near energized lines and safety practices.

• Comprehension of ANSI/National standards for tree work.
• Capable of reading circuit maps and following instructions.
• Willingness to work long hours, overtime, and travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs for removal.
• Trim, remove, or fell trees using climbing gear and ground tools.
• Work aloft to cut branches with rigging lines and lower to ground.
• Operate ground tools to fell and split trees into pieces.
• Maintain safety around energized lines and educate staff on policies.
• Apply herbicides or growth regulators and keep records.
• Inspect vehicles/equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Set up traffic controls and coordinate with nearby property owners.
• Assist with emergencies or disaster response when required.
