Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees, limbs, and shrubs near power lines. The role requires climbing, rigging, and coordinating with a team to ensure safe operation and minimal vegetation interference.

The position emphasizes adherence to OSHA regulations, equipment inspections, and proper herbicide/ growth regulator application when needed, with opportunities for overtime during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in tree trimming or clearing work.
• Basic knowledge of ANSI Z133.1 and ANSI A300 standards.
• CPR/First-Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Trim, prune, and remove trees near energized lines under supervision.
• Work aloft using climbing gear and perform rigging to lower branches safely.
• Operate ground tools and manage debris with a woodchipper as needed.
• Maintain safety, inspect equipment, and report maintenance needs.
• Follow company safety policies and work with crew to protect the public.
