Job summary

Michels Pacific Energy, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead phases of large transmission and distribution projects as well as multiple smaller projects around $500k each.

The role ensures proposals, bidding, client satisfaction, and profitable delivery with a strong emphasis on safety. Responsibilities include coordinating with field teams, estimating, and ensuring schedules meet client expectations while upholding Michels’ safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Experience with Transmission and Distribution projects is desired.
• Experience with EPC projects is desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Project Management software (Primavera, HCSS, etc.).
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a phase of a larger transmission and distribution projects or manage multiple smaller projects around $500k each.
• Oversee the proposal/bidding process, meet client expectations, and ensure profitable completion with emphasis on safety.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure schedules, costs, and quality align with contracts and safety standards.
