Michels Pacific Energy, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead large, complex projects from proposal through close-out, mentoring Associate PMs and PMs along the way.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong communication to meet client expectations and drive profitable outcomes. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience, EPC/transmission & distribution project experience, and proficiency with Primavera or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in PM, construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with transmission and distribution projects.
• Experience with EPC projects.
• Experience with Project Management software (Primavera, Project, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• PMP, PE certifications are desired.
• Must possess a valid driver license and be able to travel.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers; follow policies and regulations.
• Directly supervise Associate Project Managers and Project Managers; interview and train staff; plan, assign, and direct work.
• Review project proposal or plan to understand scope, time frame, funding, procedures, staffing, and resources.
• Proactively build and sustain relationships with clients and subcontractors; communicate with the client at all times.
• Outline work plan and assign duties; hold meetings and present information to groups; resolve problems.
• Manage contract from initial conversations through final close-out; act as point of contact for contractual matters.
