Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support our power grid construction and maintenance projects. The role reports to the Foreman and involves physically demanding labor outdoors, lifting heavy tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities include assisting with installation and repair of transmission lines, maintaining vehicles and equipment, and being available for outages and emergencies. Willingness to travel and work extended hours is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding labor including lifting heavy tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance, and repair of de-energized powerlines.
• Assist with installing and repairing overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, and hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and environments.
• Be available for outages, storms, emergencies, and on-call rotation.
• Inspect PPE and rubber goods and ensure proper safety protocols.
• Follow all safety guidelines and determine when to wear PPE.
