Job summary

Pike Electric is seeking a Groundman to support our electric utility distribution projects. You will assist the crew with construction, repair, and maintenance of overhead power systems under the guidance of a Foreman.

The role requires outdoor, physically demanding work, willingness to travel, and readiness for overtime and on-call duties in varying weather and site conditions. Safety and PPE use are emphasized across all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, repairing, and maintaining overhead distribution systems.
• Support installation and repair of lines, poles, insulators, conductors, and hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and environments.
• Participate in outages, storms, emergencies, and on-call rotations.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
