Hitachi Energy in Raleigh seeks a leader to drive a team delivering advanced power quality solutions, including FACTS, coordinating across system design, electrical, mechanical, and controls to deliver complex EPC turnkey projects.
You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with global stakeholders to advance grid stability and transmission capacity while promoting continuous process improvements and competency development.
You will take on a key role in advancing the performance and stability of modern power systems by managing a team responsible for delivering advanced Power Quality Solutions, including Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS). In this position, you will oversee a team of Project Lead Engineers who coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines—such as system design, electrical, mechanical, controls, and studies—to deliver complex EPC turnkey projects. Your work will directly support the integration of technologies that enhance transmission capacity, improve grid stability, and enable more flexible and resilient power networks. Operating in a global environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in alignment with contractual requirements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of power transmission systems while strengthening your leadership capabilities, driving process improvements, and supporting the adoption of advanced power electronics technologies that are shaping the future of the grid.
