Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Power Lead Engineer to guide design, development, and implementation of power systems across distribution, generation and control domains. The role involves leading engineering activities from concept through commissioning, collaborating with multidisciplined teams to deliver reliable, safe, and compliant power infrastructure.

You will conduct studies, develop documentation, and support project delivery while mentoring team members and evaluating emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in power systems engineering; 3+ years in lead/senior roles.
• Experience designing/implementing power distribution, generation, control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of power system design, engineering, testing, and commissioning.
• Develop tech specs, schematics, layouts for power systems.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protective relay studies.
