Job summary
G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Sales Engineer – Power Grid Automation to drive revenue growth by leveraging technical expertise in medium voltage switchgear and grid automation solutions.
You will engage consultants, EPCs, contractors, and end users to develop tailored, value-based offerings that address complex utility and data center challenges. You will lead strategic sales plans, interact with cross-functional teams, and manage the full engagement cycle from discovery to close while
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power grid automation engineering, power system communication, technical solution sales, or field application engineering.
- Demonstrated success in a customer-facing role with ability to close technical opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans and identifying high-value opportunities.
- Lead solution design discussions with customers to tailor G&W Power Grid Automation solutions.
- Develop proposals with internal teams and support project handoffs to execution.
- Own the full customer engagement cycle from discovery through contract close.
