Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Program/Project Coordinator for the Power Grid Automation group. The role focuses on coordinating workload, maintaining schedules, and guiding process improvements across engineering teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Application Engineering, Operations, and Aftermarket Support, standardize templates, and manage project-portfolio tracking using Smartsheets and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering management, operations, or related field – or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of program/project coordination, operations, or process-improvement experience.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate the work of technical teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Documented ability to drive process improvement and to resolve issues and competing priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the Power Grid Automation engineering workload – tracking order and project intake, milestones, and status.
• Own and maintain the master schedule and capacity view across all active Power Grid Automation projects.
• Develop operational metrics and KPIs and propose corrective action to leadership.
• Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives with Application Engineering, Operations, and Aftermarket Support.
• Lead capacity and resources planning and advocate for resource allocation.
