Job summary

Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division has an open opportunity as a Territory Manager. The Territory Manager will lead dealer relationships to grow Electric Power Solutions across the Western North America territory, focusing on gas generator set products and services, and communicating Caterpillar's value proposition to be the preferred long-term partner.

Qualifications

Knowledge of customer-focused selling and ability to tailor solutions.
Understanding of industry trends and regulatory context relevant to power generation.
Strong communication concepts, presenting and report writing.
Ability to manage client relationships, respond to requests, and monitor satisfaction.
Knowledge of business development tools to identify growth opportunities.
Ability to quantify costs, benefits, and value for customers.

Responsibilities

Understand the business model and support variance program reviews and commercial actions.
Designs and assists dealers on forecast, strategies, and sales techniques; roll out new products.
Conduct regular sales performance reviews with dealers and drive corrective actions.
Lead opportunity identification, customer satisfaction improvements, and relationship enhancement.
