Job summary

Baker Hughes, a global energy technology leader, seeks an experienced commercial operations professional to support Power Generation senior executives in Houston. The role bridges executive leadership and commercial teams, driving client relationships, business development, and pipeline management.

You will contribute to strategic planning, prepare proposals and briefs, coordinate internal and external communications, and help advance large energy projects across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related field.
• 10+ industry experience in the energy sector with focus on electrical business.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting business development or sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high professionalism.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English plus local/regional languages as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Be active in strategy development to create new markets for power generation capabilities.
• Conceptualize power project solutions for end markets (utilities, industrials).
• Support Business Development leads including screening and pursuing opportunities.
• Prepare proposals and contractual docs to support project life cycle.
• Coordinate travel, expenses, logistics, and internal/external meetings.
• Lead internal comms to align with Baker Hughes values and priorities.
