Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Power Systems/IPG to lead complex power-generation projects from award to acceptance. You will supervise multifunctional teams, manage executive relationships, drive profitability, and ensure safe, on-time delivery across global sites.

The role emphasizes governance, commercial acumen, and continuous improvement, with travel as needed. A strong background in large EPC-like power projects and PMP certification is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years directing complex industrial/power projects.
• Proven track record delivering large capital projects on time and within budget.
• Strong commercial management, contract administration, and change order skills.
• Experience leading multinational teams in global projects.
• PMP/ PMI certification is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of gas turbine tech and EPC projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale power projects from award to customer acceptance.
• Build and manage executive-level stakeholder relationships.
• Own project financial performance: revenue, margin, cash, forecasting.
• Drive best practices, continuous improvement, and risk management.
• Mentor project managers and cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and QC.
• Oversee site execution, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities.
