Job summary

Baker Hughes in Houston is seeking a Project Manager for Power Systems to drive end-to-end execution of complex power generation projects, including mobile and modular plants, gas turbines, cogeneration facilities, and distributed power solutions.

You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, planning, procurement, construction, quality and finance, own project financials, and serve as the primary customer focal point throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or power projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage customer relationships.
• Knowledge of power generation technologies and large industrial projects preferred.
• PMP, PMI or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end execution of power generation projects, ensuring delivery per contract requirements, scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Lead cross-functional and cross-country teams including engineering, planning, procurement, construction, quality, and finance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate execution and commercial risks while driving profitability and value for the customer.
• Serve as the primary customer focal point throughout project execution and maintain proactive communication.
• Identify and execute project variations and change orders, negotiating with Customer leadership to maximize value.
• Own project financials, leading forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Support site execution and commissioning, ensuring safe, compliant handover to customers.
