HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our national Power Generation team. You will lead the project mechanical team, coordinate with other disciplines, and provide engineering support for detailed design and owner’s engineer projects.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in power generation design, including simple cycle and combined cycle systems, and can manage multiple design tasks while communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited university.
• 10+ years of experience in fossil power industry with design and owner’s engineer projects.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Willing to mentor less experienced engineers and EITs.
• Proficient working within schedule and budget.

Aufgaben

• Lead the project mechanical team and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor and communicate project status and provide mechanical engineering support for detailed design.
• Serve as Engineer of Record or Owner’s Engineer on power generation projects (simple cycle and combined cycle).
• Collaborate with clients and vendors to ensure design compliance, budgets, and schedules.
