Job summary

IAPMO Group is seeking a Construction Manager for a 100 MW power-generation project in El Paso, TX. This onsite contract role oversees construction execution, coordinating electrical and mechanical activities while maintaining safety, quality and schedule.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in large industrial/EPC environments, familiarity with power-generation facilities and high-voltage systems, and strong ability to interpret drawings and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction on large industrial or EPC projects.
• Background involving power-generation facilities and high-voltage systems.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary crews and field leadership.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction activities and manage field crews and subcontractors.
• Coordinate electrical and mechanical work and pre-commissioning readiness.
• Monitor schedules, manpower, material availability, and field progress.
• Identify construction issues and collaborate with teams to resolve them.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure quality and scope compliance.
• Maintain safety, workmanship, productivity, and site coordination.
• Track progress and project documentation using Procore.
• Coordinate inspections, punch-list, and turnover activities.
