Kiewit Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Designer to guide a design team on power generation EPC projects.

You will manage raceway systems design, budgets, schedules, and interface with construction to ensure safe, cost-effective, constructible solutions. Based in one of our North American offices (Lenexa, Lone Tree, Houston, Raleigh, Phoenix/Tempe, New York City, or Woodcliff Lake), you will mentor staff, coordinate with disciplines, and drive design quality from concept

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience leading electrical design teams.
• Experience managing budget and schedule.
• Power generation experience preferred.
• Experience in SmartPlant 3D.
• Ability to conceptualize in a 3D environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a group of electrical designers in developing electrical raceway systems.
• Manage electrical design activities against project schedule and budget.
• Track and report design progression to project management and other team members.
• Complete monthly reports for quantities, schedule and forecasting.
• Interface with construction to ensure design is safe, constructible, and low cost.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, engineers and construction on the design.
• Check design deliverables for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Utilize applicable engineering national and local codes.
• Coordinate with project team using the Project Database and related functions.
• Mentor design team and assist in field resolutions.
