Kiewit is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to lead an engineering design team on power generation EPC projects. You will manage electrical raceway development, interface with other disciplines, and drive design from concept through construction with focus on safety, constructibility, and cost efficiency.

This role supports multiple U.S. offices, including Phoenix/Tempe, with emphasis on budgets, schedules, and mentoring staff.

Qualificações

• At least 8 years of electrical design experience.
• Experience leading electrical design teams.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules.
• Power generation experience preferred.
• Experience with SmartPlant 3D.
• Ability to conceptualize in a 3D environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a group of electrical designers in the development of electrical raceway systems.
• Manage electrical design activities against project schedules and budgets.
• Track and report design progression to project management.
• Complete monthly reports for quantities, schedule and forecasting.
• Interface with construction to ensure safe, constructible, and low-cost designs.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, engineers and construction on the design.
• Check design deliverables for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Utilize applicable engineering national and local codes.
• Coordinate via project database processes and related functions.
• Mentor and develop the design team.
