Job summary

RTX is seeking a candidate to join the Power Electronics & Controls team in Huntsville, AL, onsite. The role supports the Effector Guidance Electronics department, focusing on design, analysis, and testing of power conversion circuitry for DoD-related systems, with the need to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

The successful student or grad will contribute to multi-disciplinary engineering efforts, work with ECAD layouts, and participate in reviews with leadership, while pursuing a BS or

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Must have at least 30 credit hours by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Lab experience in power electronics or controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze (including thermal considerations), simulate, and test power conversion circuitry.
• Guide ECAD personnel through PCB layout and technical drawing creation.
• Perform design work within the given schedule.
• Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and staff.
