Job summary

RTX is seeking a Power Design Electrical Engineer in Huntsville, AL to join the System Power, Analog and Controls Department onsite.

You will design, analyze, simulate, and test power conversion circuitry (buck/boost/topologies), guide ECAD through PWB layout, and work within project schedules while presenting technical reviews to leadership. A STEM degree and 2+ years in linear converters and analog design are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 2 years of design, analysis, simulation and/or test experience with linear converters.
• Experience with buck, boost, buck-boost topologies and analog circuitry.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, and test power conversion circuitry including buck/boost/topologies.
• Guide ECAD personnel through PWB layout and technical drawings.
• Perform design work within project schedules and present data reviews to leadership.
