Job summary

EPC Power Corp. in Poway, CA, seeks a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a multi-team power electronics assembly operation. The role focuses on safety, schedule attainment, workmanship, and test quality in a high-volume environment.

You will partner with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Test, Maintenance, and Materials to maintain flow, resolve issues, and deliver SQDCP results while driving 5S and standard work improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in supervision leadership.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Strong problem-solving using data (yield, defects, downtime).
• Excellent cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple leads and 40+ employees across areas.
• Execute daily schedule, manage WIP and line balance.
• Ensure safety, 5S, and compliance in the shift.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Test, and Maintenance.
• Ensure travelers/records accuracy and audit readiness.
• Support end-of-shift security and shift oversight.
• Drive continuous improvement (5S/kaizen).
