Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Components Engineer in the Effector Guidance Electronics (EGE) organization to drive the selection of high-quality, cost-effective components for weapon system products in the Huntsville area.

You will interface with internal teams and external suppliers, evaluate risks, address obsolescence, and present findings through design reviews, supporting the circuit card lifecycle from development to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• Experience in circuit design, circuit analysis, digital electronics, analog circuits, power design, RF design or PCB design.
• Technical knowledge of board layout, PCB manufacturing and circuit card assembly.

Responsibilities

• Select and specify components, verify their suitability, and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to support component development.
• Evaluate risks and verification data to justify component choices, identify and promote preferred parts, and address obsolescence concerns.
• Provide solutions that meet customer component needs and present findings through program design reviews.
