Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant experience as a Power Distribution Line Engineer in consulting or utility environment.
• Master's degree preferred in engineering and ABET accreditation mentioned.

Responsabilités

• Assist Lead Engineer in managing large-scale engineering projects from inception to completion, aligning with goals.
• Design and implement innovative engineering solutions for complex designs using advanced methodologies.
• Provide accurate peer reviews on engineering/design drawings created by engineers.
• Mentor and coach mid-level engineers fostering growth and development.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with industry safety/design standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering with business objectives.
• Communicate project status, risks, and technical insights to stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel to project sites to gather data and interface with clients.
• Perform all aspects of designing OH/UG distribution line projects (line routing, FEA, material selection, construction support, permitting, ROW, one-line diagrams).
• Develop understanding of each deliverable for the project (plans, profiles, load analysis, bill of materials, drawings).
• Maintain strong client relationships and pursue opportunities with potential future clients.
