Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking a Product Engineer to bridge manufacturing and design engineering, ensuring accurate BOMs, drawings, and component selections. You will apply design-for-manufacturability principles to streamline build time and reduce system complexity.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, knowledge of UL/NEC standards, and ability to work cross-functionally on power distribution projects. Onsite roles with travel across sites offer growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of electrical or mechanical/engineering education with related experience.
• Experience interpreting electrical wiring schematics and diagrams.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between production and engineering on designs.
• Review mechanical and electrical designs for correctness.
• Provide feedback to design engineers on mechanical/electrical designs.
• Collaborate with design engineering on new product developments.
• Support field service during installation and commissioning.
• Interpret customer drawings and specs for BOMs and layouts.
• Review ERP BOMs prior to order release.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
