Job summary

Maverick Power in Wisconsin seeks a Product Engineer to bridge manufacturing and design engineering. You will manage BOMs, review drawings for power distribution, and apply design-for-manufacturing principles to reduce complexity and build time.

Your work spans applications, electrical/electronics, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and safety—delivering varied, challenging projects in a collaborative, goal-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Tech School or Bachelor in Electrical/Mechanical Eng or Military equivalent for 5 years.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, 2 years minimum.
• Experience interpreting electrical schematic drawings.
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact with engineering and manufacturing personnel.
• Knowledge of UL/IEEE/ANSI standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact between production and engineering troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Support manufacturing, testing, quality, and field service teams for design implementation.
• Review designs using 3D CAD for power distribution correctness and UL standards.
• Provide feedback to design engineers on mechanical and electrical designs.
• Collaborate with design team on new product developments.
• Assist Field Service during installation, commissioning and troubleshooting remotely or onsite.
• Interpret customer bid drawings, electrical diagrams, layouts and specs.
• Review orders, drawings, and BOMs prior to order release for Maverick products.
• Provide technical support for Maverick products to internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
