Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive new electrical product development from concept to production. You will design with CAD tools, establish architectures, and ensure manufacturability for scalable growth.

Collaborating with manufacturing, certification teams, and engineering peers, you will refine documentation and support product launches in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in product design/engineering or new product development.
• Experience with CAD systems and engineering documentation.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles.
• Ability to manage technical projects from concept through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new electrical power distribution products from concept through production release.
• Create electrical and mechanical designs using CAD and engineering tools.
• Develop standard product architectures and configurable product structures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize for production and scale.
• Coordinate with certification bodies and maintain documentation.
