Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for New Product Development. You will lead designs from concept to production release, producing 3D models, drawings, and BOMs while performing analyses and reviews.

You will support prototypes, testing, and validation, manage ECNs, and ensure ERP alignment with released documents. Strong CAD, BOM, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design for New Product Development (NPD).
• Ability to develop accurate 3D models, drawings and BOMs.
• Experience performing engineering analyses and design reviews.
• Proficient with CAD tools and file/document control (PDM/ERP).
• Knowledge of DFMEA and manufacturing process considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design from concept through production release.
• Develop complete 3D models, drawings and BOMs.
• Perform analyses and participate in design reviews.
• Support prototype builds, testing and validation.
• Manage ECNs and ensure ERP accuracy for released drawings.
