Job summary

Intersect is seeking a Power Developer to drive strategy, commercial structuring, and execution of utility-scale clean energy and large-load projects across the U.S. You will own projects end-to-end, from siting and strategy through construction handover, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in project development within the natural gas, oil and gas, or power development sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise building and managing complex project financial models in Excel.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through critical development milestones and negotiate commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site bridge power and portfolio strategy across a nationwide fleet of 25+ data center sites, supporting utility-scale energy projects.
• Evaluate site-specific technical and commercial development risks across natural gas supply, BESS sizing, and behind-the-meter integration.
• Own comprehensive financial and valuation models to evaluate project economics, fuel supply, pipeline costs, and commercial structures.
• Lead commercial negotiations with gas utilities, midstream pipeline operators, OEMs, offtakers, and local authorities.
• Manage the convergence of natural gas pipelines, engines or turbines, and battery storage to meet reliability standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to keep aggressive development schedules on track and ensure smooth handover to construction.
