Intersect is hiring a Power Developer to drive strategy, commercial structuring, and execution of utility-scale energy projects across the United States. You will own projects from siting through construction handover, balancing technical and financial decisions with partners.

The role involves leading negotiations, developing pipeline and storage solutions, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet aggressive development timelines across 25+ sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in project development within natural gas, oil/gas, or power sectors or equivalent energy consulting/investment banking.
• Proven ability to build and manage complex project financial models and evaluate regional energy dynamics.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through development milestones and negotiations.

Responsabilités

• Build and execute the on-site generation strategy for 25+ data center sites nationwide.
• Evaluate site risks across natural gas, BESS sizing, and behind-the-meter integration for leadership review.
• Lead commercial negotiations with gas utilities, pipelines, OEMs, and off-takers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain schedules and budgets for rapid handover to construction.
