Job summary

FourFound is seeking a Power Development Lead to shape the power strategy for its growing US data center portfolio. This remote role requires coordinating origination, commercial negotiations and development across grid-connected and behind-the-meter generation.

You will evaluate gas, nuclear, renewables, battery storage and hybrid solutions, manage land, permits and interconnections, and lead utility engagement with partners. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Direct experience developing power solutions for data centers.
• At least three years in power development, generation or energy infrastructure.
• Behind-the-meter generation experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of utility capacity, interconnection, transmission, permitting and fuel supply.
• Proven commercial and negotiation skills with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Originate and develop grid-connected, behind-the-meter and dedicated generation projects.
• Evaluate natural gas, nuclear, renewables, battery storage, microgrids and hybrid power solutions.
• Lead utility engagement, large-load interconnection discussions and relationships with development partners.
• Secure land, permits, interconnection rights and fuel arrangements.
• Negotiate development agreements, power arrangements and joint ventures.
• Manage due diligence, budgets, schedules and project risks, advancing opportunities through investment approval into engineering and construction.
