Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler & Controller to join our Strategic Project Consulting team in the Power Delivery Solutions division in the Pacific Northwest. You will support a large electric utility client, focusing on construction scheduling, work planning, and project tracking with forecasting and material tracking.

The role emphasizes earned value management, schedule recovery planning, and reporting. Hybrid Seattle office; travel up to 5–10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of relevant project scheduling experience.
• 7–10 years of relevant project scheduling experience; pay ranges commensurate with experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a closely related discipline is required.
• Demonstrated experience working with scheduling software such as MS Project.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with customer representatives.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining and driving engineering and construction schedules for various projects for public-owned and investor-owned electric utility client.
• Working with Project Management using earned value management techniques to ensure that schedule and costs are aligned and developing recovery plans.
• Partnering with Project Management, Engineering Leads, Managers, Construction teams and client stakeholders to track and execute deliverables.
• Producing weekly/monthly project control reports including resource loading, critical path items and risk analysis.
• Interfacing with the client daily to report progress, schedule and risks across a portfolio of projects.
• Assisting with the creation and maintenance of project dashboard reports and KPI tracking.
• Supporting project teams with material tracking.
