Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler & Controller to join our Strategic Project Consulting team within Power Delivery Solutions. The role supports a large electric utility client in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on construction scheduling, work planning, and project tracking.

You will collaborate with PMO, Engineering Leads, Managers, and field teams to develop schedules, monitor progress, and deliver weekly and monthly dashboards, using EVMS to keep costs aligned.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of relevant project scheduling experience (mid level)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or related discipline required
• Experience with scheduling software such as MS Project required
• Ability to plan, organize, direct, and track technical efforts on project tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Hybrid work schedule in downtown Seattle and some travel (~5–10%)

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining and driving engineering and construction schedules for various projects for public-owned and investor-owned electric utility client
• Use earned value management techniques to ensure schedule and costs are aligned and develop recovery plans
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering Leads, Managers, Construction teams, and client stakeholders to track and execute deliverables
• Create and maintain weekly/monthly project control reports with resource loading, critical path items and risk analysis
• Interface with the client daily to report progress, schedule and risks across a portfolio of projects
• Assist PM with creation and maintenance of comprehensive project dashboards and KPI tracking
• Support project teams with material tracking
