Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Director for Power Delivery Solutions, locally based in the Washington, DC area with eligibility for candidates in MD, VA, PA (Philadelphia), or NJ (Atlantic City). The role oversees engineering and professional services delivery on assigned programs, coordinating across technical teams and management levels to ensure contract compliance and value delivery.

The candidate should have a BS in Engineering with 10+ years in electric utility engineering, deep industry

Qualifications

BS in Engineering with 10+ years in electric utility engineering.
Functional understanding of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery.
Advanced understanding of the electric power utility industry.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Excellent team building and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s).
Engage technical teams, review progress, evaluate effectiveness, and work with engineering managers to maximize program outcomes.
Collaborate with Section Managers on the delivery of engineering activities and resource management.
Partner with the PMO to optimize program management and issue resolution.
Develop financial forecasts of revenue and operating income and work with BD/AM on client initiatives.
Support the VP-T&S on special projects as assigned.
