Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Director for Power Delivery Solutions, local to the Washington DC metro region including MD and VA. You will lead the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned programs, coordinating technical teams and engineering managers to meet contract and technical requirements.

Key duties include scope review, schedule and cost oversight, value delivery, quality improvement, and staff development.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Excellent team building and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s).
Review program scope to ensure contract and technical requirements are met; identify ways to add value.
Evaluate schedule performance and drive on-time delivery across projects.
Assess cost performance and implement cost-saving measures across the program.
Ensure quality of deliverables; refine processes and tools.
Develop the team’s technical skillsets and provide targeted training.
Collaborate with Section Managers on delivery and resource management; escalate issues as needed.
Coordinate with PMO to optimize program management and deep-dive investigations.
Develop financial forecasts for revenue and operating income; support BD/AM on client initiatives.
Support VP-T&S on special projects.
