Job summary

Leidos in Reston, VA is seeking a Program Director for Power Delivery Solutions to lead large engineering and professional services programs. This role requires deep utility engineering expertise and strong leadership to guide cross-functional teams to meet contract and technical requirements.

The PD will work with Section Managers and the PMO, develop forecasts, and support VP-T&S on special projects, ensuring value, schedule and cost targets are achieved.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 10+ years of electric utility engineering experience.
• Understanding of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering for power delivery.
• Advanced knowledge of electric power utility industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent team-building and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s).
• Engage technical teams, review progress, and maximize program outcomes.
• Collaborate with Section Managers on delivery of engineering activities and resource management.
• Partner with PMO to optimize program management and issue investigation.
• Develop financial forecasts of revenue and operating income on the program.
• Support the VP-T&S on special projects as assigned.
