Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Manager I to lead project teams in designing electric infrastructure for utility clients across the Northern United States. The role supports a hybrid work environment with in-office collaboration; candidates may work from Walled Lake, MI; Pittsburgh, PA; or Chicago, IL.

You will own project performance, manage costs and schedules, coordinate with engineering leads, and interact with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, business, finance or related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with project management software and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead project teams to complete design for electric infrastructure projects.
• Own overall project performance and reporting.
• Manage costs, schedule and scope with recovery plans.
• Ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering leads to track and execute deliverables.
• Document adherence to quality control.
• Interface with client and management to report progress and risks.
• Prepare bids, cost estimates, and RFP responses.
• Complete monthly invoices and accounts receivable.
• Identify business development opportunities.
